Your vehicle donation will help fund St. Vincent de Paul's® programs right here in Frisco!

The National Vehicle Donation Program is coordinated by the national council Society of St. Vincent de Paul®, a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Society of St. Vincent de Paul® offers tangible assistance to those in need on a person-to-person basis. It is this personalized involvement that makes the work of the Society unique. This aid may take the form of intervention, consultation, or often through direct dollar or in-kind service. An essential precept of the Society's work is to provide help while conscientiously maintaining the confidentiality and dignity of those who are served. The Society recognizes that it must assume, also, a role of advocacy for those who are defenseless or voiceless. Some 12 million persons are helped annually by members of the society called Vincentians. Your vehicle donation will help fund St. Vincent de Paul's® programs right here in Frisco

We are the Society of St Vincent de Paul.

For over 50 years the Society of St. Vincent de Paul has brought hope into the lives of those who are experiencing life crises throughout North Texas. Vincentians bring the love of God and the compassion of Jesus to the poor and suffering in the spirit of their founder Fredric Ozanam, and their patron, St. Vincent de Paul.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is one of the oldest charitable organizations in the world, founded in 1833 in France by seven students including Frederic Ozanam. The young Frederic, a Catholic, wanted to help the poor of all religions during the industrial revolution. He also wanted to improve the lives of his peers by urging them to perform works of charity rather than simply talk about what should be done to help the needy.

Our members, called Vincentians, continually strive to promote the dignity of the people they serve while helping alleviate their suffering and distress and working to help correct conditions that cause these problems. To obtain more information from a global perspective, please visit the Society’s International website at www.ozanet.org

St Vincent De Paul Receives 2016 Best of Frisco Award

FRISCO May 25, 2016 -- St Vincent De Paul has been selected for the 2016 Best of Frisco Award in the Charity category by the Frisco Award Program.

Each year, the Frisco Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Frisco area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2016 Frisco Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Frisco Award Program and data provided by third parties.

About Frisco Award Program

The Frisco Award Program is an annual awards program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Frisco area. Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.

The Frisco Award Program was established to recognize the best of local businesses in our community. Our organization works exclusively with local business owners, trade groups, professional associations and other business advertising and marketing groups. Our mission is to recognize the small business community's contributions to the U.S. economy.
