Federal help with paying your rent
If you’re a tenant having trouble paying your rent, utilities, or other housing costs, help may be available.
The federal Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program was created to help tenants like you cover housing costs and stay in stable housing during the coronavirus pandemic. Many programs are taking applications from both tenants and landlords. So if you’re a landlord, you’re in the right place too. ERA funds come from the federal government, but local programs are distributing the money in their own communities.
Am I eligible for emergency rental assistance?
To be eligible for help covering your rent, you must have an agreement to pay rent for your home or mobile home lot. You don’t necessarily need to have a signed lease, and your home could be an apartment, house, mobile home, or other place.
These three statements also need to be true:
At least one member of your household has:
Qualified for unemployment or should qualify
Lost income
Owed large expenses, OR
Had other financial hardships
Your household income is below a certain amount, based on where you live
At least one member of your household is experiencing housing instability, which means they are at risk of becoming homeless or would have trouble finding a stable place to live
Providing life saving AC for those in need

St Vincent de Paul helping those in need save on Internet Bills
HELP NEIGHBORS SAVE $50 ON THEIR INTERNET BILL
The Emergency Broadband Benefit will partially subsidize internet bills to help people stay connected and able to access online school, jobs and healthcare.
The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program is temporary program administered by USAC with oversight from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Demand is high and families are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
Those in need can visit HERE to find out if they qualify.
The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that provides a temporary discount on monthly broadband bills for qualifying low-income households. If your household is eligible, you can receive:
Up to a $50/month discount on your broadband service and associated equipment rentals
Up to a $75/month discount if your household is on qualifying Tribal lands
A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)
Only one monthly service discount and one device discount is allowed per household.
The FCC has announced that consumers can begin applying for and enrolling in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program on May 12, 2021. The program will end when the fund runs out of money, or six months after the Department of Health and Human Services declares an end to the COVID-19 health emergency, whichever is sooner.

You must be a resident of the state of Texas,
have an annual household income below 300% of the Federal Poverty level for your family’s size,
have no health insurance, and
have a valid prescription for your medication.

John 20: 1-18
On the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala came to the tomb early in the morning, while it was still dark, and saw the stone removed from the tomb. So she ran and went to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and told them, “They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they put him.” So Peter and the other disciple went out and came to the tomb.
They both ran, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter and arrived at the tomb first; he bent down and saw the burial cloths there, but did not go in. When Simon Peter arrived after him, he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths there, and the cloth that had covered his head, not with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place.
Then the other disciple also went in, the one who had arrived at the tomb first, and he saw and believed. For they did not yet understand the scripture that he had to rise from the dead. Then the disciples returned home.
But Mary stayed outside the tomb weeping. And as she wept, she bent over into the tomb and saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and one at the feet where the body of Jesus had been. And they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “They have taken my Lord, and I don’t know where they laid him.”
When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus there, but did not know it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?” She thought it was the gardener and said to him, “Sir, if you carried him away, tell me where you laid him, and I will take him.” Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to him in Hebrew, “Rabbouni,”* which means Teacher. Jesus said to her, “Stop holding on to me,* for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Mary of Magdala went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord,” and what he told her.
